Hogg Robinson Nigeria Limited is a Nigerian Company registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission in 1974 as per our Certificate of Incorporation (copy attached) as Appendix I and under the Nigerian Insurance Act 2003 as an Insurance Broker to transact all classes of insurance business (copy attached) as Appendix II.

Hogg Robinson Nigeria Limited has developed specialist divisions for Oil & Gas, Marine & Aviation, Construction & Erection, Industrial & Commercial, Reinsurance and Multinational Risk.

The Insurance Act 2003 requires a registered firm of Insurance Brokers to maintain a Professional Indemnity insurance cover for N10,000,000 or 50% of the preceding year’s brokerage income. We maintain cover for as much as N1,000,000,000 as an additional protection to clients using our services as per Appendix III.

Hogg Robinson Nigeria Limited presently employs 207 full-time personnel operating in strategic locations in Nigeria.

Hogg Robinson Nigeria Limited has on its staff 6 FCII (Fellows of the Chartered Insurance Institute), 22 ACII (Associates of the Chartered Insurance Institute) by examinations, and a host of other knowledgeable and experienced personnel. In a local market with perennial problems of qualified manpower shortage, we have a very high concentration of professionally qualified and capable staff for which we enjoy market support and respect.
